niversity Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) has been selected by GoAbroad.com as a Top-Rated Study Abroad Organization of 2017.

This list of Who’s Who in international study and travel is based on real student reviews from past USAC participants.

“USAC is honored to receive this award as it is a direct result of our commitment to provide students with a beneficial, full-spectrum USAC experience:  positive customer service and effective preparation before departure, academically and culturally enriching experiences on site, and new skills and perspective for a bright personal and professional future,” said Alyssa Nota, Ph.D., president and CEO of USAC.

“I lived in Alicante for an academic year and it was the best year of my life. USAC helps you immerse yourself in the Spanish culture and they break down the language barrier,” said Joe Perez, a University of Nevada, Reno student who studied abroad in Alicante, Spain. “The on-staff directors in Alicante want to help you as much as possible. USAC also allowed me to do several paid internships in which I would teach English to children, teenagers, and adults.”

USAC has been sending college students abroad for more than 30 years. Students can choose to study in more than 50 locations across 28 countries and take courses in a variety of academic disciplines including, anthropology, business, communication, criminal justice, education, fine arts, geography, health, community health sciences, history, humanities, journalism, law, literature, nursing, nutrition, physical education, political science, international relations, psychology, STEM, social work, sociology, and women’s/gender studies.

GoAbroad.com is a prominent study abroad review site for college students. The website partners with more than 700 study abroad providers to promote 4,888 study abroad programs.
