Union Public Service Commission has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Assistant Director and Professors. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

Educational Qualification

Assistant Director: M.Sc. Degree in Entomology or Nematology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology or Nematology or M.Sc. Degree in Zoology with specialization in Entomology or Nematology from a recognized University or Institution.

Professor (Gastro Medicine): A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Post Graduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Gastroenterology) or Doctorate of Medicine (Gastroenterology) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine)/ Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Gastroenterology.

Professor (Gastro Surgery): A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Post-Graduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Gastro Surgery – Magister Chirurguie (Surgical Gastroenterology): or Master of Surgery (Surgery) with two years special training in Surgical Gastroenterology).

Professor (Neurology): A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Post-Graduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neurology).

Professor (Radiology): A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Post-Graduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Radio Diagnosis) or Doctor of Medicine (Radiology) or Master of Surgery (Radiology).

Assistant Director- 35 years

Professor (Gastro Medicine/Gastro Surgery/Radiology)- 50 years

Professor (Neurology)- 53 years
