The fall semester is underway at Hagerstown Community College, but there is still time to register for late-start fall classes.
Shorter sessions begin Mondays, Sept. 10 and Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 3.
A variety of traditional and online classes are offered in blocks during the shorter sessions, allowing students to take classes back to back. Courses are being offered in nursing and allied health, engineering, industrial technology, business and computer studies, the arts and public service, as well as prerequisite and general-education classes needed to get started in any credit program.
Students who missed the initial financial-aid deadline for spring still have time to apply and register if they act quickly.
