DRDO Recruitment 2019: Engineers can Apply for 12 Fresh JRF Vacancies at DRDO Centre, Salary Rs 31,000

DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers will be conducted at the Defence Research and Develop Organisation’s centre Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai. The recruitment is being conducted to fill vacancies of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and candidates will be engaged on a temporary basis. Selected candidates will also be eligible for a stipend of Rs 31,000 per month.

Who can Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?

According to the official DRDO recruitment 2019 notification, there are a total of 12 junior research fellow vacancies for which candidates with a valid BE or BTech in first division from a recognized university with valid GATE score OR ME or MTech with first division both at graduate and postgraduate level can apply. Candidates who possess a degree from foreign universities should obtain an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, says the notification. The number of vacancies for each discipline is as follows:

  1. Mechanical engineering – 3 vacancies
  2. Electrical and electronics engineering – 4 vacancies
  3. Electronics and communication engineering – 3 vacancies
  4. Computer science engineering – 1 vacancy
  5. Aeronautical engineering – 1 vacancy.

Allied or equivalent engineering degrees will not be accepted says the notification.

How to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official RAC website for the above-mentioned posts. The RAC website link will be available by next week and candidates can apply until 21 days of the date of issuing of the link. Relevant documents supporting the candidates’ educational qualifications will be required to be uploaded. Shortlisted individuals will then be called for an interview. Qualified candidates are advised to go through the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification in detail, and then wait for the online application to be made available on the official RAC website.
