Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant. As per a notification issued by the ISRO, candidates with a first class diploma in Electrical engineering from a recognized institute, university or board are eligible to apply for the post. Candidate possessing BTech are also eligible to apply only if they possess the essential qualification specified above. The job opening is available at New Delhi.
Age limit: Candidates should be below 35 years as on June 27, 2019. However, there is age limit relaxation for Central government employees, ex-servicemen; persons with disabilities; widows; divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried; meritorious sportspersons as per the Government of India rules.
How to apply: Candidates who fulfill the required qualifications can apply for the post of technical Assistant on ISRO website from June 7, 2019 to June 27, 2019. However, candidates are advised to apply by June 26, 2019 to avoid last minute rush or any unexpected transaction failures/issues.
The only mode of application is online. Following the registration, applicants will get an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
An applicant should provide e-mail ID compulsorily, said the ISRO recruitment 2019 notification.
Pay Scale: The recruitment will be done for the one unreserved position available at ISRO. The selected candidate is eligible for a pay of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month.
Application fee: Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100 by either using online mode such as Internet Banking and Debit Card or Offline by visiting nearest SBI Branch. The notification further stated candidates should mandatorily ensure a ‘successful payment’ from “Payment Status” link in ISRO’s website.
Candidates would be selected based on a written test and skill test.
