Facebook creates 200 jobs in Dublin

Social network Facebook is to create 200 jobs at its international headquarters in Dublin.

In a statement, the firm revealed the posts will be filled by the end of the year, taking the total number of employees at its HQ to 1,500. The new roles will be split across a range of business functions, including sales, engineering and online operations.

In 2014, Facebook announced it was doubling the size of its international HQ in Silicon Docks in Dublin to more than 250,000 sq ft, giving it the potential for the firm to hire up to 2,000 people in total.
