Patna: Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission, BPSSC has released a notice on its official website regarding the reservation in the Sub Inspector recruitment process. As per the official notice available on bpssc.bih.nic.in, a total of 35 percent seats of the total vacancies of 1717 have been earmarked for women candidates. Accordingly, 539 of the 1717 seats have been reserved for women candidates across various categories. The category wise break up of different candidates has been shared below. Kindly note, that apart from the reservation for women, the other reserved seats remain the same. For instance, the reservation for Scheduled Castes, say is 300. Out of these 300 seats, 95 have been reserved for woman candidates. In case there are no women candidates available within the SC category, then the seats would not be offered to women candidates from OBC category or general category. The first priority would be provided to male candidates from within the category.

The online applications for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2017 would close on November 30, 2017. Interested candidates are advised to apply online at the earliest.
